Erick Ocampo - Founder & CEO

Erick Ocampo, an award-winning Sound Designer based in LA, is the Founder, CEO, and Supervising Sound Designer at Vicious Sound. With two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Erick has contributed to critically acclaimed video games and major motion pictures. Driven by a fascination with psychology, Erick explores human emotion to inspire his creation. Beyond his professional achievements, Erick is a gamer, guitar player, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, with a musical journey that began at age 12. He has performed as the lead vocalist and guitarist in an LA punk band and is a movie buff, comic book nerd, and tech enthusiast who enjoys traveling to seek new experiences and inspiration.

Samantha Ocampo - Chief Operating Officer

Samantha Ocampo is the Co-Owner & COO at Vicious Sound. She plays a crucial role in managing the company's daily operations and ensuring seamless workflow and productivity. She oversees all project budgets and handles payroll, guaranteeing financial efficiency and timely compensation. Samantha facilitates team coordination to meet project milestones and deadlines. Her creative talents extend to contributing voice work for games and movies, enhancing projects with sound effects and off-stage walla. With a strong background in theatre and music, she provides valuable creative input, ensuring all audio assets meet high-quality standards. Samantha is instrumental in strategic planning and resolving operational issues, making her an integral part of Vicious Sound's success. Her multifaceted skills and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable part of the Vicious Sound team.

Florian Ardelean - Technical Sound Designer

Florian Ardelean is a sound designer based in Bucharest, Romania, specializing in cinematics and technical sound design for AAA games. His audio journey began at 16 as a video assist technician on film sets. In 2009, he earned a BA in video editing, sound design & animation, and his work can be heard on 40+ films, some of which won internationally acclaimed prizes at A-list film festivals. During the pandemic, Florian shifted his focus to game audio and in 2022 started working with Vicious Sound on AAA productions, taking on different aspects of game audio.

Raison Varner is a seasoned sound designer and composer with 17 years of experience in AAA game development. He is best known for his contributions to the Borderlands franchise, where he served as audio lead, sound designer and music director, as well as the writer and voice actor for fan-favorite characters like the Psycho Bandit. With a comprehensive understanding of the entire audio development pipeline, Raison is dedicated to creating experiences full of richness and character.

Goeun Everett is a two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning sound editor and designer, celebrated for her exceptional work on “Vampirina” and “Dragons: Rescue Riders.” With over 15 years of experience in the motion picture and AAA gaming industries, Goeun’s talent has been recognized through numerous awards and nominations, including her contributions to the Oscar-nominated sound team for “Birdman.” Her expertise and artistry have led her to collaborate with some of the most renowned directors in the industry, including David Ayer, Michael Bay, Alfonso Cuarón, Alejandro González Iñárritu, and Chloé Zhao. Goeun’s recent work features prominently in major projects such as “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” and “Jungle Cruise.” Goeun thrives on collaboration and finds the greatest fulfillment in creating sounds that resonate and inspire. Randy has had the honor of being a part of the Oscar-winning sound team for the Christopher Nolan motion picture “Dunkirk,” a testament to his expertise and dedication to his craft. Kimberly Levin - Associate Producer

Kim Levin is a producer on the Vicious Sound team. She studied violin performance for both her Bachelors and Masters degrees, post graduation she became a teacher at a music academy and a freelance violinist. Her career in music naturally transitioned into audio production at Riot Games, where she facilitated music and sound design across multidisciplinary projects for League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift. Kim is dedicated to supporting the team, and loves sharing her enthusiasm for sound design, music, and video games.
